To write that you are far to have an in deep knowledge of the genre.įist point, long range and aiming will be crap with gamepad compared to mouse, the precision angle required will kill the pad. There is no Quake style tricks that require the finer aim of a mouse. It's all backwards with people playing FPS games with controllers and ARPG's with a mouse.

Then I abandoned the game for some reason till now, I finished the game a week ago using the mouse. I played 2/3 of the game and even started tinkering with the controller control scheme mod to introduce the game to a friend and play together. A year and a half ago I remembered the game and said to myself "It was a nice game it deserves a go" (I looked for an ice embermage build online ). It had such a great variety of possibilities regarding stats and skills, that created some kind of "vertigo or agoraphobia" (because I stupidly wanted to make the right choices on my first attemp) I didn't touch the game for years (even if the possibility to Respec was there). (I bought 2 copies the game in 2012 but never played much even if I liked the game and had finished Torchlight 1. I have 5 possible buttons in the left side of the controller: LT, LB, Left Stick button and two palettes, but by now I am going to use only two of them (use heal potion and use mana potion) I am going to use only the left side of the controller (left stick for moving the character, even if I can use the mouse, I want that feeling ) My ice embermage uses only 7 abilities (6 using the side buttons and the teleport using the right click button). My mouse is a Logitech G602 and has many buttons, and 6 of them are located in the side. I am going to mix the Xbox Elite controller (left hand) and the mouse (right hand). I wasn't planning to play any more by now, but if I come back to game, I have thought what control scheme I want to use. I have been playing and I finally finished the game.
